Roofer / Roofing Technician – Residential & Commercial

Position Summary

As a Roofer / Roofing Technician, you’ll assist with roof installations, repairs, and replacements across our service area. You’ll be part of a professional team that values communication, craftsmanship, and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Tear-off, preparation, and installation of shingle, metal, and flat roofing systems
  • Perform roof repairs and maintenance on residential and commercial properties
  • Load, unload, and organize materials at job sites
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace
  • Follow company safety policies and use proper PPE
  • Communicate clearly with team members and customers

Training & Advancement

Dependable Roofing believes in developing long-term team members. We provide on-the-job training for those new to the trade and offer advancement opportunities for experienced roofers ready to take on leadership roles.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work comfortably at heights
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Experience with basic hand and power tools
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail


Preferred:

  • Previous experience in roofing or construction
  • Familiarity with asphalt shingles, metal, and flat roofing systems
  • Safety or OSHA certification a plus

Compensation & Schedule

  • Pay: $22–$30/hour depending on experience, plus performance incentives
  • Schedule: Full-time, year-round (Monday–Friday; overtime available during peak season)
